Calling You

As I continue to interact with many of the imbeciles in my college it becomes more and more apparent that there are a lot more dense people pursuing higher education than American society lets on. I study for hours on end to be well versed in my subject matter and somehow others still manage to coast along in the same course. The longer I am surrounded by ignorance the more suffocating it becomes. I can't figure out how to shake this apathetic bitterness I have towards all the slackers in my academic environment. I need to withdraw somehow. Any suggestions? And when do I find someone that will return my heart's call among the hoards of indifferent neanderthals that bombard this university?
